It is getting more and more awareness after the Earth Hour on 28th March 2009, when over 1,500 cities voted for Earth and switched off our lights. In addition, there are growing number of supporters taking actions on global warming contributing to saving our Mother Earth, by using less plastic bags for our daily shopping and takeaways.

WWF Malaysia is supporting this noble approach, by giving away two free WWF shopping bags when we contribute RM100 or more. Our kind contribution will definitely appeal to our planet in 4 ways:

Re-using shopping bags and using less plastic bags will drastically reduce the consumption of fossil fuels and petroleum, eventually reducing global warming.
Less pollution to our oceans caused by plastic bags and petroleum products will be saving hundreds of thousands of lively turtles, birds, seals and whales from dying as a result of accidentally eating plastic bags.
Word of mouth to show and remind all mankind the difference a person can make as a result of re-using shopping bags to leave a greener earth to our future generations.
