Recycle A Mobile Phone, and Plant A Tree
It’s a noble urge to recycle a mobile phone, battery or charge of any brand and make/model. Not only we do our little bit to conserve our mother earth, and green our environment for our next generations, we can also adopt a tree. In addition, the tree can be planted in our name and the growth of the tree can be monitored any time, anywhere, with Google Earth.
Just find Nokia Care Kios from Nokia Concept Store at The Gardens or Nokia Store at the Curve, and perform the 5 simple steps below:
- Select “Recycling” on the screen
- Insert our MyKad, or enter our personal particulars
- Collect the printed barcoded sticker and apply it on our phone, battery or charger
- Drop the phone, battery or charger with barcoded sticker into the Recycle slot
- Collect the receipt
Together with WWF, Nokia and Equinox Publishing, tree(s) are replanted in Sebangau National Forest in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. More information is available by visiting Nokia Care Kiosk in Malaysia.
