From July 16, 2010, Friday, the subsidies for sugar, petrol, liquefied petroleum gas and diesel will be cut as part of the Malaysian Government’s gradual subsidy rationalisation programme. The price of sugar will go up RM0.25 to RM1.75 per kg; LPG will go up RM0.10 to RM1.85 per kg; RON95 petrol will be up RM0.05 to RM1.85 per litre and diesel will be up RM0.05 to RM1.75 per litre. RON 97 petrol will no longer be subsidised – its price will be determined by the automatic pricing mechanism. It’s a bad news to all Malaysians because our burden of living is getting heavier, widening the gap between cost of living and living standard.

I have tested with Digi 3G Broadband Internet Service, the voice quality was as clear as using normal mobile service or fixed line calls. You will be amazed by the good voice quality although this is VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service from Malaysia.
